The Playa-Azul Golf and Beach Hotel Cozumel is located on the beautiful white sandy beach of San Juan; just north of Cozumel, five minutes away from the airport and the Country Club Golf Course. Enjoy breakfast or lunch at the oceanview "La Terraza" restaurant while listening to Mozart & Beethoven or watching the dolphins pass by. The Playa-Azul offers spacious and well-appointed guest rooms. Every room has been carefully decorated with Mexican architecture. All feature air conditioning, private telephones and balconies. Most of the rooms offer a view of the ocean. The Playa-Azul offers onsite dining and is convenient to shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues.
Please Note:
The hotel is presently open. The property did not receive any structural damage and the roofing and windows that were damaged have been replaced. In addition, new mattresses, bed sheets and bedspreads have been installed along with new curtains and freshly painted doors. In addition the hotel has taken this opportunity to upgrade the telephone system to include voice mail and use fiber optics. The pool is completely restored, painted and new tiles have also been added. The terrace has been expanded to accommodate 100 people and a new palapa is being built next door. The unfortunate note is that the beach has effectively been lost, leaving rocks behind. While the hotel has begun to replace the lost sand, it will be some time before the beach is fully restored. Apart from this, the hotel and its staff extend their warmest welcome -- Bienvenido.

Celebrating couples can enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine, bathrobes and slippers and fresh flowers in the guestrooms. Please request the celebrating-couples package at the time of booking. A three night stay is required and Proof of marriage is required upon check in.
